Slabworks of Montana

Have a natural stone countertop-related question? We have the answer at Slabworks of Montana. Check out these FAQs and call or text us for more information!

  • How can I tell when to reseal my stone countertops?

The need for resealing varies depending on the stone type, age, and condition of your countertops. To check if it's time to reseal, perform a simple test: place water drops on the most used area, typically near the sink. If the water soaks in and darkens the stone within a minute, rather than beading up, it's likely time for resealing. For more information or resealing services, please don't hesitate to contact us at Slabworks of Montana.

  • Does Slabworks of Montana do tearouts?

We don't provide countertop removal services. For the most accurate project measurements, it's best if you or your contractor remove the old countertop before we create the template. However, if needed, we can work around the existing countertop to create the project template.
  • How should I prepare for my countertop service?

To prepare for your countertop installation, please ensure the work area is free of unnecessary items and debris. Clear a path from the parking area or vehicle access point to the work area. During colder months, this path should be free of snow and ice to allow our team to safely transport heavy materials, which can weigh hundreds of pounds.
